Flat Bottom and a Poopy Arm

This was right before bath the other night. I had to take a picture of his cute, and very flat, bum-bum! As Adam was standing there with him, Bennett suddenly pooped right on his arm:)

Summer Sweetness

Ethan loves his pool. He went down his slide without hesitation on Saturday. I love the guts this kid has!

Taking a bottle!

I think (cross your fingers) that Bennett is officially willing to take a bottle! Thanks to my friend and daycare provider, Leia, she suggested that we try the MAM bottles that her daughter used. They are great, and BPA-free! Anyway, Adam got Bennett to take a bottle two consecutive times and then we visited Leia's house on Monday and he took it for her as well. We will try a full bottle soon, but I think I am finally able to let that stress go. Now maybe I could go to dinner with friends...or better yet, a date with my husband:)

"Bit" is 3 months old!

Bennett, or "Bit" as Ethan calls him, has hit the three month mark. I continue to be overwhelmed with thankfulness that I have two healthy kids at home. Bennett is a beautiful baby boy.

Catch Up!

I feel like I have so much to catch up on! I haven't even posted about our 4th of July doings. You would think I was busy raising two boys or something!:)

My Sweet Boys

When I first asked Ethan if he wanted to hold Bennett, he was very excited. As I started putting my boppy around his waist...Ethan eagerly lifted his shirt as he had seen his mom do so many times before:)

Some Things I Don't Want to Ever Forget

*Bennett laughed for the first time at daddy tickling his tummy with his whiskers on July 1st!

*When Bennett gets tired, he will bury his head in your chest or whatever he can bury and rub his face up against. It is nice, because that is an easy way for us to tell if he is tired. You can also see it in his eyes. His eyes get dark around them just like his daddy's do.

*Bennett loves to get his diaper changed. You can almost guarantee a smile anytime you give him a fresh, dry bottom!

*Bennett likes to have his face partially covered while he sleeps. He looks so cute, wrapped up like a mummy with his face covered with a blanket!

*Ethan's new favorite word- "Sorry" (sounds like "ory") You would think I beat the kid or something...he is so sensitive and sweet, but seriously he says it all the time!

Bright Eyes

Our Not-So-Great Thursday- 7/3

On Wednesday Ethan and I came in from playing outside and, as usual, Ethan ran towards the stairs that go down to the family room. The gate appeared to be closed. Before I could realize it Ethan had leaned up against the gate that he thought was closed too and went toppling down the stairs. The step basket broke his fall to the second gate, but as he went to get up, he fell down the rest of the way. I scooped him up as fast as I could. He was crying so hard. You know, the kind of cry where they forget to breathe. He only cut his gum, thank God. Will I ever learn my lesson about these darn gates?
