Bennett weighs 13 lbs. 9oz. and is 25 inches long- at the 5th %ile in both categories. He is wearing 3 month onesies and 0-3 month pants. Sometimes he can wear 3-6 month outfits, especially when they were his big brother's and washed a few dozen times!
Bennett nurses every 2-4 hours, he is definitely not a schedule kid (at least right now anyway). When he nurses, he gently rubs my chest back and forth like he is so thankful for his milk. :) I love this time together.
He is eating cereal twice a day, in the morning and at supper. He loves oats, although we are trying to get him used to having it made with water or formula as he is partial to oats with breastmilk. We have tried several different foods now- peas, bananas, pears, sweet potatoes, and green beans. His favorites seem to be fruits...the exact opposite of Ethan!:) And he actually tolerates eating peas, Ethan would literally gag.
Bennett is getting really close to rolling over from back to tummy, he just can't quite make it all of the way over. He likes to pass items back and forth from hand to hand. He concentrates so hard! He still struggles a little bit to hold his head steady, but is doing better on his tummy. It will be awhile before he sits unassisted!
He is still getting up once a night to nurse, usually around 3-5am. We have found lately that when he wants to eat, he wants to eat immediately! He will scream and scream, loud and hard.Bennett is babbling up a storm. He says "mamamamama" and "dadadadada", I am going to take the credit that "mama" was his first word as Ethan said "dada"...they both didn't realize who they were speaking of however!:)
Benne is a loud kid! He is much louder than Ethan ever was. He loves to scream in delight, I think he loves the sound of his own voice. When he gets excited he screams, when he is happy he screams, I love it! I can see a difference in the boy's personalities already.
Bennett loves his pacifier. We still only use it for naps and bedtime, but boy, it has sure come in handy a few times when we have had to delay a feeding or nap a little while!
